Ted Nugent to Auction His Customized 1994 ZR1 Corvette
Legendary musician, performer, and outspoken activist Ted Nugent will be auctioning off a 1994 ZR1 Corvette as part of the Ted Nugent Gonzo Auction, hosted online by Backstage Auctions from May 15 ? 22, 2005.
Although the bulk of items are from Ted's long multi-platinum music career, his customized and specially built corvette is sure to peak the interest of Corvette enthusiasts around the world.
Nugent has owned Corvettes for years and this "Special Performance" model is one of only 448 that were made and then further customized by the race team at General Motors. The car's engine, chassis, suspension and the drive train was enhanced for a specialized total performance making the car unique and one of kind. Ten years old, it only has 34,000 miles on it and is in absolute top condition (exterior, interior and "under the hood").The Ted Nugent Gonzo Auction is being run to raise money for The Ted Nugent Kamp For Kids, a non-profit organization established and operated by Nugent which provides boys and girls aged 9-15 with the ultimate outdoor experience and teaches them to be assets to their lives, their families, their communities and nature.
The camp's unique curriculum combines hands-on hunting, conservation and recreation education with fundamentals of our constitution and American freedoms with the ultimate goal of giving them an alternative to a lifestyle of drugs and violence.
